Job Details: · Position: Project Manager
· Location: Fort Wainwright, AK Job Summary: Sanford Federal, Inc is looking to hire a Project Manager to provide performance management to the landscape and snow removal staff in Fort Wainwright, AKQualifications: The PM shall have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited College or University or five (5) years of equivalent experience in base support management
Duties and responsibilities:
- The Contractor shall be responsible for the performance of the work whenever the snow falls.
- The PM shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all contract matters.
- Work in the field, providing hands-on completion of work as a mentor
- Prioritize horticultural tasks and coordinate implementation of work assignments
- Assist in preparation of work schedules
- Lead snow and ice removal operations, creating on-call lists and being available to work some evenings and weekends.
- Examine potential unsafe working conditions and order corrective
- Supervise contracted services and assist with identification of need for contracted
- As a manager, attend meetings IF necessary.
