Housekeeper

We are looking for an organized and hardworking housekeeper to join our team, Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Daily tasks include:

• Sweeping/vacuuming, mopping
• Laundering naptime bedding and soft classroom materials
• Cleaning and sanitizing high touch areas and items
• Collecting and disposing of trash from offices and common areas
• Dusting
• Cleaning student and staff bathrooms
• Emptying, cleaning, and refilling water dispensers
• Gathering, stocking, and/or delivering supplies
• Assisting in all applicable areas of the school as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must meet background check requirements for employment in the childcare industry and additional school requirements may apply
• Ability to work independently, stay on task, and remain motivated
• Performs tasks with speed and attention to detail
• Able to walk 3-5 miles a day and lift up to 40 pounds
• Effective communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Understand that the purpose of the position is to support the team
• Willing to take initiative
• Strong understanding of the need for a clean environment
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing processes
• Must be able to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to use mechanical equipment, such as carpet cleaner, vacuum, tools etc.
• Must be able to use various chemicals and cleaning agents
