TEEMA is currently seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team in providing healthcare services within a correctional facility in Soledad, CA. As an LVN, you will play a pivotal role in administering patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the well-being of individuals within the correctional setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

- Monitor and assess patients' health status, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records.

2. Collaboration:

- Work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to report patient status and any changes.

3. Health Monitoring:

- Conduct routine health assessments, including vital signs and patient evaluations.

- Implement and follow medical care plans for individuals in the correctional facility.

4. Emergency Response:

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, following established protocols.

- Assist in emergency medical procedures under the direction of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

- Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.

- CPR/BLS certification.

- Previous experience working in a correctional facility is advantageous.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging healthcare environment.

- Willingness to undergo background checks required for employment in a correctional facility.
