Job Description
Diamond Select, Inc. is working with a NEW team at a strong Burger King franchisee to source and hire another multi-unit District Manager to join their team. Territory would be in northern VA area, SW of DC. Multi-unit experience required, preferably in the restaurant industry. Apply today; perhaps we'll chat soon!
You have two primary roles as a District Manager. Your principle role is to support the long-term development of your RGMs. Your second role is to ensure that customers are receiving a consistent and positive experience in our restaurants. You know how to run a great restaurant, and you are the eyes of the customer for our RGMs. Observe, ask, and listen. Teach your RGMs what you know so that they can grow their business.
Priority #1: Build Management Capability: People
- • Find and hire the best RGMs, Assistant Managers, and Shift Leads.
- • Personally conduct orientation to set up new managers for success.
- • Build a deep bench of talented restaurant leaders.
- • Promote your best people and make them leaders.
- • Coach your RGMs on the “3 Rights” in their restaurants.
- • Recognize outstanding performance every visit, every day.
- • Impart skills every day to grow performance and to develop.
Priority #2: Ensure Consistent Customer Satisfaction: Customer
- • Role model Customer Mania, especially when you’re in a restaurant.
- • Understand how customers are viewing your restaurants through scheduled visits and detailed analysis
- • Coach your RGMs to ensure that each restaurant consistently delivers results in key area
- • Work with your RGMs to identify and develop strategies to address opportunities.
- • Lead product and program rollouts with your RGMs to ensure success.
- • Know how your restaurants compare with competitors and strive to be the best.
Priority #3: Coach Process and Discipline Around the P&L: Sales and Profits
- • Analyze the financial performance of your area and understand trends.
- • Coach your RGMs, using EARS and the Period Business Review, on ways to drive sales and maximize profitability.
- • Find and select the best vendors for your RGMs.
