Job Description
Oilfield company is seeking to immediately hire an Equipment Operator (2nd Shift) for its warehouse operations.
Previous Saw Operator, Crane Operator, or Forklift Operator experience is required. This Equipment Operator is responsible for cutting down raw material to create housing and shafting used by shop assemblers. The position is also responsible for operating cranes and/or forklifts to move heavy equipment and/or material around the shop. In addition, standard warehouse duties will be included such as stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing, etc.
Job Location: Bartlesville, OK
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on shift and experience
Position type: Full time, Direct Hire with benefits
Shift:
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
- Working on Saturdays is voluntary but preferred
- Working on Sundays is voluntary and would be paid at "double time" rate.
Responsibilities:
- Operates various manual and automatic saws to cut down raw material
- Operates cranes and forklifts to move materials and/or equipment where necessary.
- Plans and performs work that involves ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing, labeling, pricing, delivering, and maintaining a perpetual inventory of forms, office supplies, and various types of equipment
- Coordinates freight handling, equipment moving and minor repairs.
Requirements:
- Previous Saw Operator, Crane Operator, or Forklift Operator experience is required
- Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy items (may be up to 50 lbs.) above and below shoulder height, and perform continuous standing, walking, reaching, and bending
- Must have an active driver's license in good standing
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement, including urine and hair follicle testing.
