Process Engineer – Manchester, PA The Opportunity Our client is a manufacturer of precision machined components and assemblies for various industries including aerospace, defense, and medical. They have hired us to seek out a Process Engineer for their Manchester, PA location. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role entails reviewing, designing, developing, and evaluating new projects, encompassing new product analysis, process enhancement, and upgrades to equipment and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience: Analyzing various data sources to determine manufacturing and quality requirements for new projects, collaborating with customers as needed. Leading the production of accurate cost estimates for new business opportunities, involving make/buy decisions and conducting quote reviews with management and shop personnel. Justifying quote standards for high-value projects and maintaining knowledge of external services. Consulting with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters, and conducting thorough contract reviews for new jobs. Leading technical improvement projects and stay updated on competitive manufacturing processes. Maintaining positive relationships within the organization and staying informed through professional development. Effectively communicating and conveying machining concepts, providing support to shop floor execution, and evaluating new technologies for complex parts.
