Clinical Social Worker Annual Salary Ranges: On-site $91,716 - $120,132 – Licensed $85,248 - $111,660 – Pre-Licensed Clinical Social Workers providing in-person care in an inpatient unit will receive: $105,468 - $138,144 – Licensed $98,028 - $128,400 – Pre-Licensed Recruitment and Retention Bonus for clinicians newly hired with the State of CA has been restructured to provide a 1% bonus for the first 7 years, increasing by 1% year over year, maxing out at a 7% annual bonus by year 7.
