Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union (CMSU) County Behavioral Health & Developmental Services is seeking someone like you to join the team as a Residential Program Trainee. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Residential Program Trainee, you will learn how to assist individuals in a mental health Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) Program who are engaged in recovery with behavioral health and co-occurring issues to obtain the skills necessary to live independently and reintegrate into the community. You will have the opportunity to assist in developing and implementing individual service plans, counsel clients to effectively process daily stressors, manage educational and vocational responsibilities, and identify and maintain personal values. Under supervision, you may also assist with or conduct recreational and social activities. Providing transportation for consumers will be required as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Part-time employment
  • Work hours will vary. This position is at a facility which runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • No previous experience and training required.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
