Summary
Work with the Center Director and other age-level lead teachers to plan and implement daily activities that promote the physical, mental, social, and emotional health and growth of each child. Have knowledge of and be able to implement age-appropriate behavior management techniques in order to provide a positive, safe, and orderly environment that promotes healthy human growth and development. Maintain a sanitary, clean, safe and attractive learning environment for learning and work cooperatively with other staff members. Dress, speak, and conduct self in a manner appropriate for a teacher in a Christian education learning environment and in ways that promote a positive work environment for staff and children.
Duties
Create lesson plans
ensure children are safe and clean
Change diapers
Pray with students at meal times
Interact with students on playground
maintain a clean classroom
Read to students
Requirements
High School Diploma
Nice To Haves
6 months experience in a license childcare facility
Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education
