RNDC is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and professional Transportation Supervisor to join our growing Washington State Operations team. The Transportation Supervisor is based out of our Auburn Washington Warehouse and directs and coordinates operational activities of delivery equipment and personnel by performing the following duties, including but not limited to. Shifts Available: 3:00am-Noon and 11:00am-8:00pm In this role, you will Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Has responsibility for recommending performance management actions including but not limited to selection and hiring, transferring, and discharging the assignment of work, coaching, receipt of rewards and progressive discipline. Supervises all aspects of the product delivery operation and customer relations. Oversee and manages the routing of delivery trucks using the computerized Descartes routing system. Assigns all drivers and driver helpers daily routing. Updates, reviews and sets delivery routes throughout the day using the GreenMile driver tracking software. Monitors driving performance using the Geotab telematics software and Lytx driver cameras Rides with drivers to observe work habits and identify areas of needed improvement conducting training when necessary. Trains drivers in the areas of safe driving, proper lifting techniques and company delivery process and procedures. Interacts with internal departments and customers to resolve delivery problems as they occur throughout the day. Enforce all company safety and security policies and programs and on occasion may be called upon to run a delivery route as business dictates. What you bring to RNDC High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Associate's degree from a two year college or technical school preferred. 3 years related experience, of which 2 years previous transportation and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Class A or B CDL Bonus if you bring 3 years of Transportation Supervisory experience. Lean Management Certification of Green Belt or higher. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant's skills and experience. The typical compensation range for this role is $52,000 to $74,300. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location, territory and qualifications. RNDC offers a complete Benefits Package including access to: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Health Savings Account, and 401k. New hires will accrue 80 vacation hours per year as well as 7 holidays per year (after one year 8). Associates accrue paid sick time at one hour per 40 hours worked.
