Overview

LMI is seeking a Training Analyst to support the US Army Global Force Information Management (GFIM) system in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The position will develop, validate, and update GFIM training plans and materials in support of GFIM, whose mission is to allow senior leaders and combatant commanders to make data-driven force structure decisions faster and with confidence to man, equip, train, ready and resource the Army. The Training Analyst will also answer training inquiries, research answers, and provide clear summary responses as needed to users and government leadership. The candidate filling this position must be proactive, articulate, and comfortable interacting with key leadership. Work location is at Ft. Belvoir, VA. Remote work is acceptable. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities
    Develop training materials and technical documentation (i.e., Users Guides, Enterprise Help, Training Plans, training aids, handouts, and POIs).
  • Verify and recommend changes and updates to training materials and technical documentation
  • Must be self-directed and detail oriented and able to coordinate and work with a dynamic team and multiple stakeholders.
  • Candidate will interpret and analyze requirements obtained/derived from customer; review, verify and/or validate system specifications and other design-related documentation.
  • Candidate will interact with the user community to refine user training needs and capture training effectiveness measurements
  • Candidate will be working with multiple contractors and must be self-motivated, reliable, dependable, flexible, and have excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Participate in system development activities such as Agile Sprints, Features and Demonstrations, Subject matter Expert (SME) sessions, and User Testing sessions.
  • Present technical level briefings in areas of responsibility as required.
  • Assist with developing procedures, plans, schedules, and documents required for execution of the deployment process in accordance with U.S. Army policies and procedures.
  • Validate training materials, instructor certifications, reference materials and technical manuals used in performance of orientation training.
  • Works with deployment team to ensure training and validation are completed. Requires exceptional ability to plan, prioritize and execute on multiple events at one time.
  • Must be able to work with multiple stakeholders in different parts of the country both in person and through remote technologies.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in systems engineering, information systems, or related field.
  • Skilled in writing training materials.
  • Skilled in problem solving and debugging.
  • Experience with security frameworks and practices.
  • Experience developing training materials.
  • Experience delivering training to Soldiers and Civilians.
  • Experience with leading government training activities.
  • Knowledge of Army Training and Distributed Learning Systems.
  • Must be self-directed and detail-oriented.
  • Must be a loyal team player with excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Army Regulation (AR) 350-1 and AR 350-70.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience with modernizing training requirements from legacy systems and processes.
