Class A or B Lead Driver and Container Installer

The Lead Driver and container installer will be a critical member to the operations team in our expansion market in Virginia Beach, VA. In order for our company to operate and grow we must provide used cooking oil collection containers at our customers location. We must then collect the UCO (Used Cooking Oil) as well as pump out customer Grease Traps. This role is part driver, part crane operator, part leader, part customer service support and 100% get the work done. You will also ensure proper communication between both operations and sales while maintaining a healthy relationship with all clients in the territory. You are a one person team (to start) who will help us service and grow this new geographic area. (We plan on hiring 3 more drivers over the next two years)

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• After training, hours will generally be Monday-Friday 5am-3pm. These hours can vary based upon workload and customer needs. Several accounts need to be serviced early in the morning.
  
• Implementation and installation of new account containers once sold by the sales rep.
  
• Physically moving and/or craning the container to the customer's desired location.
  
• Drive vacuum truck and collect used cooking oil at customer locations
  
• Drive vacuum truck and pump out grease traps at customer locations
  
• Interactions with all new accounts so you must have a willingness to speak with multiple clients per day.
  
• Maintain new and established client relationships.
  
• Safeguard the account by ensuring the competition is out of the way and that we are the sole provider for the client.
  
• Must have Class B drivers license to deliver/service our customers.
  
• Communicate new service and product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during field activity to proper company staff.
  
• Manage account services through follow-up and quality checks.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly to clients and to our sales team.
  
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, stoop, kneel, climb stairs/steps on a continual basis.
  
• Valid Class A or B license with a clean driving record and tanker endorsement
  
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
  
• Ability to work much of the day outside in all weather conditions
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with minimum supervision
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Basic mechanical skills, use of drills, the crane unit on the truck, power washers, etc.
  
• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
  
• Flexibility in working hours and schedule
  
• Must meet insurance policy requirements (no more than 2 speeding/moving violations in the last three years, no more than 1 wreck in the last 3 years, no DUI in the last 5 years)
  
• Pump/Crane truck knowledge is a plus.
  
• Being mechanically inclined
  
• Good written communication skills.
  
• Computer experience, preferably with all Google or Microsoft applications
  
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
