Hourly Pay:$21.00/hr. - $25.00/hr.Shift(s):Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm and occasional SaturdaysLocation:Lubbock, TX, 79404

Summary

The Production Supervisor will assist the Assistant Plant Manager and Plant Manager in managing, training, and leading production team in plant operations.

This role is ideal for candidates with warehouse experience who are looking to advance their career. Candidates with experience in warehouse, logistics, plant operations, construction, lumber, welding, roofing, landscaping and carpentry are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Responsible for enforcing safety standards, as well as help drive the team to achieve production goals, while maintaining quality standards
  • Provide leadership to the production function of the site
  • As part of daily production, you will perform pallet sort, light pallet repair, forklift operation and customer service duties
  • Ensure employee safety and pallet quality standards are met
  • Lead production
  • Provide customer support
  • Mentor safe working behaviors to the production team
  • Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
  • Observance of all safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Willing to work overtime as needed or swing shifts at times

  • Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate 
  • Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
  • The employee is frequently required to sit, talk hear, walk and use hands to handle, feel and reach.
  • The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision.
  • Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordination
