Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered equipment, trucks, machines, etc.
• Dismantle and reassemble trucks, machines and equipment to gain access to the problem area
• Provide solutions to mechanical problems with the ability to diagnose and repair the mechanical problem, as well as perform other duties such as cleaning, organizing, and other general maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, electrical systems, drivelines, steering mechanisms and suspensions
• Tier IV Emissions experience is preferred
• Weld, cut and fabricate equipment and components

Other Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• Associates degree preferred
• Must have valid drivers license in good standing
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, reach overhead, push, pull, walk up stairs
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
