Golf Pro Shop Attendant/Beverage Cart

Work at the beautiful Salt Fork State Park Golf Course!!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Primary essential functions for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Operate Beverage cart as scheduled
• Greet golf course guests entering the pro shop
• Set up tee times and collect greens fees or cart fees on Lightspeed
• Restock merchandise as necessary 
• Handle sales transactions according to established guidelines
• Upsell or suggestion sell merchandise to golfers
• Open / Close pro shop according to established procedures
• Maintain an accurate cash bank at all times and deposits money as established
• Answer pro shop telephone in a professional manner
• Clean golf carts after each use and return to proper parking space
• Pick up practice range balls from the driving range and keep range ball supply stocked in the golf shop
• Loading, unloading and cleaning guests’ golf clubs and storing clubs in club storage area
• Ensure sufficient golf carts are in the staging area at all times and puts away at closing as needed
• Clean around golf shop, golf course and driving range
• Assist with golf outings and tournaments
• During slow periods helps to maintain the pro shop merchandise area, restrooms, etc.
• Assist with Snack Bar sales as needed depending on business levels
• Take and prepare guest’s requested order
• Restock coolers as needed before, during and after shift
• Set up and/or tear down snack bar area depending on shift
• Ensure pro shop seating area is cleaned throughout the shift
• Handle any guest complaints or issues in a professional manner
   
• 18 or older required
• Knowledge of golf course operations is desired.
• Valid driver’s license required
