Exciting Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity!
We are seeking a talented and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dedicated educators near Allison, AL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and other conditions.
Job Details:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs.
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students' progress and goals.
Requirements:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in AL.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
