Role Responsibilities:

  • Schedule outbound freight.
  • Create packets for outbound freight.
  • Print all necessary paperwork for outbound freight.
  • CAPA creation for outbound exceptions.
  • Ensure SOPs are current based on existing processes within active department.
  • Coach operators through the problem-solving process to identify problem areas and solve them, including manufacturing processes, reducing set up time, equipment problems and reducing scrap.
  • Train operators on procedures, methods, problem solving, programming, quality requirements, team methods and safety.
  • Coach operators on safety improvements, department inspections, safety surveys and follow up on safety issues.
  • Work with operators on quality assurance, including quality requirements and procedures for the department and plant, as well as monitoring and addressing any quality concerns.
  • Resolve employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a warehouse function.
  • Responsible for training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
  • Supervise warehouse staff directly or through group leads.
  • Subscribe to vertical accountability and a willingness to work directly with the workforce when needing to gain more knowledge and understanding of the Holding team accountable to the following:
  • SOP processes/procedures.
  • Labor management goals.
  • Quality and performance goals.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Must be capable of light to heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • At least 2 years production supervisory or lead experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Manhattan WMS
  • Experience with Manhattan LMS
  • Lean distribution experience
  • 5S/6S experience
  • Change management experience
