CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

IMMEDIATE OPENING! We currently have an opening for a Customer Service Representative. We are looking for a customer service representative (CSR) to be responsible for prospecting, generating and developing new customers, data entry, managing Accounts Receivables, and receiving inbound calls in a call center environment. This position will report to a Customer Service Manager.

RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Answer incoming calls, providing excellent, professional, respectful, and helpful service to our customers.
  • As opportunity presents, assist in generating new business through upselling to existing accounts, or facilitating the establishment of new accounts.
  • Assist in the creation of appropriate documentation to establish new service or roll-off orders.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving customer/service issues and aiding in the resolution of accounts receivable disputes.
  • Aid in the collection of past due debts and minimize bad debt through assisting customers calling in to resolve payment issues.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales Manager, General Manager, and Operations.
  • Develop fundamental knowledge of customers within assigned territory, industry pricing, and competition.
  • Gain an understanding of and implement the division’s pricing and service policies.
  • Acquire a basic understanding of appropriate local, state and Federal regulations.
  • Strengthen and maintain relationships of current customers.

  • Ability to work successfully with minimal supervision

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Competence in using the Internet.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This work is typically performed indoors in an office setting. Employee is frequently exposed to routine office noise. On occasion, employee may have a need to enter the garage and/or yard; when necessary, employee will be exposed to loud noise and various weather conditions. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is required to be properly worn when and where required, and will be provided to the employee.
