Service Technician Qualifications

• Vehicle maintenance experience required
• Detail-oriented and willing to follow directions
• Self-starter and a team player
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Available to work required schedule

Service Technician Responsibilities

• Examine customer vehicles
• Identify necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance
• Estimate cost of repairs
• Document services performed
• Follow dealership and manufacturer repair/service guidelines
• Request necessary parts
• Performs services efficiently and according to manufacturer/dealership guidelines
• Be current on manufacturer technical bulletins
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
• Stay up to date with required training
• Maintain Customer Service Index scores at or above Company standards
• Complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA guidelines
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Re-inspect work performed prior to returning a vehicle to the customer
