The Sign Maker Must Be an Experienced Printed and Vinyl Cut Graphics Sign Making Professional with 2+ Years of Hands-On Sign Making Experience. The Sign Maker must have design and layout experience utilizing the latest in computer-controlled printers and graphic cutters and must be self-motivated to learn new technologies, software, and systems. The Sign Maker is also detail oriented, works well in a fast-paced team environment and can efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Sign Maker is a self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering continuous product quality excellence. Responsibilities
- Sign design and production
- Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
- Answer phones inquires as a sign professional
- Consult/interface with customers to ensure quality and scope expectations are always medt
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
- Assist in maintaining company signage equipment
- Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs
- Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional
- 2+ years of experience as a professional sign maker design and production
- Background in vinyl creation and application
- Large format digital printing
- Layout and creative design experience
- Expertise in using Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience with RIP software
- Physical ability to layout, manipulate and cut materials on large format worktables
- Skilles to actively help build our team of professionals
- Vehicle wrap installation
- Knowledgeable in color management
- Experience in installing dimensional letters, channel letters, monument signs
- Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.) not required but a plus
