Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruiting and Staffing
• Performance Management and Improvement Systems
• Compensation and Benefit Administration
• Manpower Planning; Employee Orientations, Development and Training
• Policy Development and Documentation
• Employee and Community Relations
• Employee and Community Communications
• Development and Maintenance of Employee files
• Handbook Development and Administration
• Employee Services and Counseling - Coaching
• Employee Safety, Welfare and Health
• Manage the process for Discipline and Termination of employment from the company
• Company Security
• Provide Oversight to Other Management on Good Employee Management Practices
• Guide Company Charitable Giving Efforts;
• Active Involvement with the Community in order that the company is perceived as a good corporate citizen.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Personal knowledge of the management and employees; ability to represent the employees to management and the company to the employees; knowledge and understanding of all local, state and federal employment and labor laws; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with staff, peers and higher level management.
