Quality Correctional Care is looking for a Licensed Nurse to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.

Nurse's Purpose: This position is designed to provide necessary support to other team members with the common goal of providing excellent patient care and service to our clients. QCC holds all team members to a high standard and require them to carry themselves in a manner consistent with our Core Values. We are in search of a motivated and enthusiastic individual to make meaningful contributions to the team’s shared vision and further the care we provide to patients and clients.

LPN Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

· Seeing patients for medical complaints, both acute and chronic

· Performing 14-day physicals on all patients

· Managing their chronic medical conditions by monitoring labs and medication efficiency

· Working with the dentist to ensure that our patients oral care is addressed

· Responding to medical emergencies

· Working hand in hand with physicians, PA's, NP's and correctional staff who all have the same goal of optimal patient care

· This job is not monotonous, and every day brings something new. Each day presents unique opportunities and challenges that will undoubtedly foster professional and personal growth

Location: Campbell County Detention Center

Shift Openings: 

  • Full-Time 6 PM to 6 AM, with every other weekend rotation

Requirements:

· Valid LPN or RN licensure

· A minimum of six months of recent medical experience

· Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time

· Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
