Adam Search Group has partnered with a client of theirs in Pennsylvania to help with the hiring of individuals for their project team as they are working in conjunction with the Major Bridges P3 Initiative which is part of the PennDOT Pathways Program helping with the rehabilitation of major bridges in Pennsylvania.

We are currently looking to hire a Safety Specialist for our New Milford PA project which is set to conclude June 2028.

In this role you'll work alongside the safety manager, ensuring our employees and subcontractors are performing work safely.

What they are looking for you to do:

  • Control hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities.
  • Participate in developing and conducting staff and craft safety orientation training programs.
  • Conduct all work area inspections.
  • Document all accidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions/activities.
  • Plan and implement programs to train employees in work site safety practices.
  • Keep on top of new safety trends and PPE
  • Assist in preparing written appeals for safety violation citations.
  • Other duties as required.

What they are looking for:

  • 4-year occupational safety/health degree or equivalent combinations of training and related experience.
  • 3-4 years of construction/industrial safety experience.
  • OSHA30 and/or OSHA500 certification.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to enforce all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.
