- Monitor beach areas for safety.
- Perform water rescues and administer first aid.
- Post surf condition flags.
- Respond to emergencies promptly.
- Educate the public on ocean safety.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Ocean rescue training or 2 years’ experience.
- CPR and first aid certified.
- Meet physical fitness standards.
- Familiarity with rescue equipment.
- Effective communication skills.
