Summary / Objective

Marquis Industrial Services is currently recruiting for Pipefitters with experience in the oil and gas industry.

Essential Functions

• Adheres to all OSHA, site specific and Marquis Industrial Services safety requirements
• Participate in safety pre-job audits (JSA’s) with the work crew to ensure all safety hazards have been identified
• Experience working with carbon steel and stainless-steel piping and supports
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID’s, Specifications, and ISOMETRIC drawings
• Ability to cut, assemble, and install pipes and supports
• Ability to thread pipes with threading machine
• Accuracy in reading a tape measure, Field Verifying, Miter Lay-outs,
• Measuring, laying out, cutting, fitting, to create the desired shape or object as defined by ISO drawings
• Ability to Bolt up Flanges, Valves, in accordance with Specifications
• Any other duties as assigned by supervision.

 Ability to Read, Understand,

• Attentive to details is a must
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions
• Apply common sense to understand and carryout instructions
• Ability to read a tape measure to accurately taking measurements

• Working around moving mechanical parts
• Working in high precarious places
• Exposed to all types of weather conditions – hot /humid/cold/wet
• Working around different types of chemicals
• Working in high noise areas

• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Ability to pass Hair Follicle Testing
• Acceptable Background
• TWIC Card
• Successfully complete all Safety Training
• At least five (5) years of previous pipefitting experience.
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Required to always wear PPE on job site.
