Summary

Job descriptionPrecious Treasures Academy is seeking 3 Classroom Aides that able to assist program teachers and complete program tasks

Duties

DAILY RESPONSABILITIES
Supervise students at all times.
Able to work comfortability with children between 6 weeks old and 5 years old.
Follow a daily schedule
Change diapers 4 or 6 times every child per day.
Assist and promote potty training.
Maintain the safety of all children at the center.
Ensure students are eating during meals and napping or remaining quiet during naptime.
Check students for fevers.
Report any concerns regarding illness or abuse.
Complete incident reports for ALL incidents and ensure that the Director lead teacher has been notified.
Complete Parent Communication Log regularly
Play and sing with your students.
Conduct regular counts for students every 30 minutes, especially when you are moving your class from one place to another one, make sure you count your students before and after you enter to your class or playground.
Keep your classroom clean and organized; take the trash out of the building twice a day.
Keep tables, walls and chairs free of crayons and food.
Avoid leaving personal items or cleaning supplies at a child's reach.
Assist with snack and meal prep.
Be familiar and comply with minimum state standards.
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Assistant Teachers Requirements
Be a least 18 years of age.
working towards a High school diploma or equivalent.
Background and fingerprints.
First Aid and CPR credentials.
Complete 24 hours in child development training every year.
Have a positive attitude with students, families and staff members.
Most of allLOVE CHILDREN.
Complete Center Orientation.
New Employees are required to complete 24 hours of training within the first 90 days of employment
Random/Routine drug test
