Job Summary:

As a Full-Time Occupational Therapist at Soliant, you will play a critical role in helping individuals of all ages achieve their maximum level of independence and functionality. You will work with a diverse caseload, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to help clients regain essential life skills, recover from injuries, and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct prehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors affecting their daily functioning.

  2. Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client, taking into account their unique circumstances and challenges.

  3. Therapeutic Interventions: Provide occupational therapy services including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, mobility training, and sensory integration therapy.

  4. Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outes.

  5. Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve holistic treatment goals.

  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing records in pliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ID licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • State teaching certification.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a schoolsetting or pediatrics preferred, but not required.
