This role will routinely interface with executive leadership, including the President of Bed Bath & Beyond and the SVP of Bed Bath Stores.This position is a hybrid role working out of the Union, NJ headquarters Tuesday through Thursday and working remotely Monday and Fridays unless the business dictates otherwise.Responsibilities:Leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and business strategic analysis of the Bed Bath & Beyond banner. Owns all store level forecasting & reporting, and both the Bed Bath & BuyBuyBaby Banner.Conducts Financial Analysis and develops insightful suggestions for strategic business decisions in partnership with the President of Bed Bath & SVP of Store Operations. Engage with functional business areas throughout the organization to ensure forecast accuracy and process efficiency.Builds effective PowerPoint presentations for Board of Directors, Investors, and internal Leadership to showcase financials and/or business KPIs and strategy. Review operations for cost-savings opportunities and work cross-functionally to incorporate these initiatives.Coordinate, prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling forecasts and prepare reporting on actuals vs. budgeted results, variance explains, and additional ad-hoc analysis on results.Maintain awareness of proper internal controls and make recommendations for any deficiencies.Perform quantitative analysis required for strategic planning, special projects, and reports for management and communicate results to management team. Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.Prepare other reports and participate in other special projects as requested.Required Skills & Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. MBA is a plus.At least 10 years of related experience in Finance with prior experience managing the FP&A function; Retail industry experience is required.Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills.Strong communication skills coupled with executive presence; ability to effectively partner with C-level executives is required.Willingness and ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change.Solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and working with a large ERP/Financial System (Oracle).Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.Assertive; ability to think strategically and act tactically.Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of associates, management, and outside parties to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results. #LI-TZ1#LI-HybridSalary Range: In Compliance with the New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $160,000 - $210,000. This range is not inclusive of any Short Term Incentive or Long-Term Incentive programs.
