Begin your journey of a flourishing and meaningful career, share your resume with us today!Your Main Mission:Collaborate with Range Systems Engineers to analyze the maintenance costs, operational reliability, and lifecycle of current range systemsDevise comprehensive plans for both long-term and short-term enhancements range systemsCoordinate, conduct, and participate in collaboration meetings with the Government and other stakeholdersEvaluate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions Produce thorough documentation such as strategic road maps and trade studies to upgrade technology, where appropriate and approved, to enable new range capabilities, increase efficiency, improve mission reliability, and reduce range operation costs.Conduct in-depth technical intra-company collaboration What Sets You Apart:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 10+ years of pertinent experience in the fields of space, range, or instrumentation technology. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degreeDemonstrated expertise in project/program management with a minimum of (5) years of experience, including proficiency in financial and budget managementExcellent oral and written communication skillsThe ability to communicate and work effectively with other contractors and Government civiliansHighly organized with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications: Technical program management experienceMaster's degree in engineering or physical scienceDoctorate in engineering or physical sciencePrior experience as a Chief Engineer, Chief Technology Officer, or similar position on a major programPMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certificationClearance:Must have an active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.At Leidos, the opportunities are boundless.
