Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse with a strong passion for pediatric care? Join our team at Advanced Pediatric Care as a Pediatric Home Health Nurse LVN, providing high-quality healthcare services to pediatric patients in the comfort of their own homes. At Advanced Pediatric Care, we are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. The current opening is for weekends. Shifts are 12:00p-9:00p in Bridge City
-LVN range from $19.00-$30.00 per hour (depending on experience, shift, and acuity)
*Shift differentials for nights and for weekends
We may have the perfect spot for you! Be it a shift or two a month or a week or even Full-time employment! We can work around school and hospital schedules if you are just wanting to pick up a few extra shifts.
Training provided. PTO and insurance available for full-time employment.
Responsibilities- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals -
- Monitoring patients' health conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to the medical team -
- Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding -
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families -
- Conducting patient assessments and following care plans -
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care -
- Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and health management
Requirements
- Current LVN license in Texas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of pediatric medical equipment and procedures
- CPR certification
