Responsibilities:

The role of the Certified Dental Assistant is to assist the dentist in providing exceptional dental treatment and customer service to patients, while also assisting with the following:

• Answering patient questions
• Sterilization
• Preparing the clinical room
• Temporary restorations
• Packing gingival retraction cord
• Radiographs
• Dental lab work
• Post-operative instructions
• Discussing treatment recommendations
• Patient records

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Dental Assistant Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years working in a dental practice as a chairside assistant preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Purpose driven

• Ability to multitask

• Experience with Dentrix dental software and Microsoft Office preferred
