RWC is a continuing care retirement community. We provide care and services for senior adults living independently and to those who need assistance with daily living activities or full nursing care.
Our nurses often comment on how much they love the residents and are enriched by their life stories. Our friendly, team-oriented staff have low patient case loads and work in a beautiful work setting. RWC has been commended for our infection control practices.
Responsibilities:
Follows prescribed medical regimen as outlined by attending Physician.
Provide assistance in the management of resident care on the unit assigned
Enters chart documentation as well as provides communication within nursing staff
Takes orders for lab work and performs necessary blood work, documents needed information accurately
Provide direct nursing care functions appropriate to License qualifications
Communicates with physicians appropriately, including accepting new orders, preparing for receipts, receiving physician call-backs
Responds to emergencies according to policy
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse License
Experience working with senior adults preferred
Experience in handling emergencies a plus
