Onsite Dishwasher, Hostess & Busser - part-time (CGCA2024-6761)

This is a part time position - the schedule is Wednesday- Sunday from 5 PM- 9 PM

The Dishwashers duties include washing soiled plates and glassware thoroughly as well as maintain the overall cleanliness of the back of the house. They may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed. To be successful as a Dishwasher, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills, and can multi-task. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
Unloading and storing deliveries if necessary.
Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled.
Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Busser Job Responsibilities: The right busser is committed to ensuring high-quality customer service and the capacity to handle the pressure of restaurant work. • Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning and clothing tables, setting decorations, service plates, and utensils.

• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to additional needs.
• Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and busser stations.
• Closes dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash from the facility.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Hotess Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers
• Keep area clean and inviting
• Assist with reservations if needed
• Plus other work related tasks as needed

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Atleast two years related experience

Minimal work experience.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Exceptional time management skills.
Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift at least 25 pounds.
Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.

Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical or rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communications.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs, up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 10 lbs constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.

Pay = $16.50 hour
