Lab Tech
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Butler, IN within the plastics industry producing quality custom color concentrates. Our client is looking for a Laboratory Technician to assist the Technical/Laboratory Manager in maintaining an ISO compliant laboratory quality system. Laboratory Technicians will be involved in color product development as well as production quality control.
Lab Tech Job Summary:
  • $22.01/hour
  • 1st 7am-3:30pm
  • 2nd 3pm-11:30pm
  • 3rd 11pm -7:30am
  • Lab Tech will perform quality assessments
  • Formulate supervised color matches
  • Lab Tech will perform physical testing on products as required
    • Convection Drying Oven for Dry Colors
    • Milling trials and color checks.
    • Mold trials and color checks.
    • Measuring Color –Spectrophotometer
    • Viewing Color in Light booth
    • Weighing trials and color checks.
    • Test using Carver Press
    • Certification of finished product.
    • Quality Assurance Recording
Lab Tech Qualifications:
  • Diploma/GED not required
  • Must be able to read/write in English
  • Prior lab experience preferred
