Apply now! CTI, Inc. is hiring a Loader Operator to join our operations in Miami, AZ. 


The Loader Operator's primary responsibility is to safely and timely load, unload, transfer, and move bulk solids and chemicals within our customer worksite while observing loading levels accordingly and operating material moving heavy equipment such as a Front End Loader. The operator may perform a variety of other tasks relating to the shipment of products. It is expected that the Loader Operator will have the ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies for CTI and the customer, Capstone Pinto Valley. 


Hourly Pay + Bonus = APPLY NOW..$$

Starting pay is $24.00/hr (DOE)

$500 quarterly Safety Bonus


Job Site Location: Capstone Pinto Valley Miami, AZ

Work Schedule: Graveyard shift Sunday - Thursday (11:00 pm - 9:00 am)

 

Loader Operator Job Requirements

  • Valid Driver License
  • Minimum 18 Years of age
  • Experience in operating a Front End Loader or similar heavy equipment, highly preferred
  • No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years on your MVR
  • Ability to pass a controlled substance test at pre-employment
  • Prior transloading experience is highly preferred
  • Mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions preferred
  • Successful respirator physical, and respirator fit test 
  • Meet minimum background check requirements for CTI and worksite customer(s).
  • Authorized access to Capstone Pinto Valley Mine
  • General knowledge of mining operations is a plus

Summary of Job Duties

  • Responsible for overseeing safe and efficient operations while loading and unloading, including hot zone areas.
  • Record operating data such as products and quantities being loaded, unloaded, or moved, gauge readings and operating times, either manually or by using computers
  • Operate equipment to load, unload or move products including, but not limited to, conveyors, hoists, and other specialized material handling equipment
  • Verify truck load numbers to ensure correct products are loaded
  • Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders, and other equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles
  • Check conditions and weight of vessels to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading and unloading procedures
  • General maintenance and operation of basic hand tools
  • Communicate with CTI employees, customers, and mine personnel
  • Handle stressful situations, make quick decisions, and react efficiently and safely
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all MSHA/OSHA/EPA requirements.
  • Operation of basic hand tools
  • Wash wheel loader equipment weekly.
  • Other duties as assigned

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) requirements:

PPE is required and must be worn in accordance with company policy and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each worksite. PPE is typically issued by our safety department and may include but is not limited to:

    • Hard hat with face shield
    • Goggles/Spoggles
    • Gloves
    • Long sleeve shirt
    • Reflective vest
    • Hearing protection
    • Respirator Mask (varies according to the worksite)
    • Steel toe boots (not supplied by CTI)


Respirators: CTI employees are required to wear a full and/or half-mask respirator for any job task that requires a respirator. Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors). All CTI employees who are required to wear a respirator must be clean-shaven daily and in compliance with respirator protocols at all times.
