Job Description
Seeking a Project Manager with experience in construction, leading crews in the field on commercial and residential properties that have experienced water, mold or fire damage. The Project Manager should have clear communication with clients & team members, the ability to sketch job sites, obtain moisture readings & monitor/maintain drying equipment, write insurance estimates using Xactimate software & perform manual labor, as needed.
Benefits:
After one year of employment, receive 5 days paid vacation (40 hours) and receive the following paid holidays (8 hours each); New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
After 60 days and pending a clear driving record report, receive the use of a company vehicle to take home which is approved for use to drive to & from work sites, the company office, inspections & after-hours inspections & job sites, as necessary. For such commutes a company gas card will be provided. Employer will assume proper vehicle insurance coverage. Light personal use is acceptable.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- IICRC Certified (Preferred)
- Experience with insurance billing software (Xactimate, Highly Preferred)
- Construction Experience (Preferred)
- Water Mitigation & Fire & Mold Remediation Experience
- Willing to be on call after hours on a rotating basis
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Approach
- Inspect all incoming leads
- Provide written, on-site estimates when needed
- Write insurance estimates with Xactimate software
- Use of moisture meters and other tools to document job sites & monitor drying processes
- Set up and monitor drying equipment
- Document all projects from start to finish with photos, DRYtrack logs, daily field notes, etc.
- Practice controlled Demolition (Flooring, trim, drywall, insulation, light plumbing/electrical)
- Coordinate all project schedules with the property owners
- Effectively communicate with Insurance Agents, as needed
- General knowledge of standard Water Damage Mitigation, Fire and Mold Remediation practices per IICRC Standards
- Willing to be hands-on training new employees in the field
