Service Technician Trainee

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused and highly driven Service Technician Trainee. The purpose of this position is to train to become a service technician, working in cooperation with the Team Leader to learn the shop process and how to use available shop resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs the procedures with the assistance of Team Leader while training toward Certification
  • Examines vehicle and discusses with the Team Leader the nature and extent of damage or malfunction
  • Plans work procedure in cooperation with the Team Leader Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation
  • Attends weekly department meetings

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (Including Driver's License)

Operator's Driver's License (must be insurable).
