Responsibilities - Sales Consultant:

 

  • Greet and guide customer through a proven sales process
  • Assist the customers to find a vehicle that meets their needs and wants and dynamically present that vehicle’s features with a product demonstration and demo drive
  • Present and negotiate terms of the deal helping make vehicles affordable for customers
  • Utilize state of the art data mining tools that will identify in market customers to prospect sales opportunity appointments with those customers
  • Field incoming sales calls to address customer’s inquiries and set in person appointments with those customers
  • Assist in merchandising of the products by inspecting the vehicles on the lot and escalating any known issues in order to maximize sales
  • Proactive approach to manufacturer training and product training- complete all necessary training and continue to learn new products from all the brands

 

 

Qualifications - Sales Consultant:

 

  • Automotive Sales experience preferred but not required, sales experience in any industry will be considered
  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Outgoing and friendly, especially while handling objections
  • Quality customer service skills and sales track record
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills- in-person, over the phone, and online
  • Able to be persuasive to overcome customer objections during the sales process to close the deal while creating a positive customer experience
  • Proficient in basic business math including percentages
  • Capable of learning and using Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs and a CRM
  • Persistent, competitive, and good work ethic
  • Focuses on the customer’s needs to enhance dealership and personal sales
