Position Title: Production Operator

Wage: $20-$25/hour

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Hours: 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am

QPS is seeking Production Operators for a company in Verona, WI that develops and manufactures the thin film-coating on pharmaceutical drugs, specialty chemicals, and food-grade materials. The Production Operator is responsible for operating and cleaning Production processing equipment and preparing coating solutions and other formulas in a cGMP environment. Production Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clean equipment and areas
- Operate equipment in assigned suite
- Validate label and lot information
- Verify tasks performed by other personnel
- Identify deviations to processes under their control
- Label containers with contents, lot number, weight, etc.
- Transfer solvents from large to small containers
- Stage materials and/or equipment for processing
- Mix coating solutions and other formulas
- Maintain accurate records
- Perform simple mathematical calculations
- Follow all safety and cGMP practices, policies, and procedures
- Work with and/or are familiar with the GMP requirements for food, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, or other elements of each
- Depending on the position, will be aware of Halal and/or Kosher requirements
- Other duties as assigned

Production Operator Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cGMPs preferred
- Basic understanding of the purpose and contents within the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) preferred
- Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and conversions
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read, write (legibly), and speak the English language at a level necessary for efficient performance
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, and/or clients
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time
- Ability to use a half-mask respirator with proper seal
