Delta-T Draftsman – Immediately Hiring

Schedule: Full Time | Monday – Friday |

 

 

We are currently in search of a highly self-motivated draftsman to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of specialists. The successful candidate will play an integral role within a multidisciplinary engineering team, demonstrating adaptability in both team-oriented and independent work environments. The primary responsibilities will involve the creation of 2D drawings and 3D models for engineered Heat Exchanger designs utilizing CAD or comparable software.

 

Responsibilities:

• Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
• Prepare both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
• Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Communicate with Engineers and incorporate knowledge gained into drawings.
• Prepare, review, and redraft alongside the engineering team.
• Ensure final designs meet customer approval.
• Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team.

 

Requirements:

• Ability to draw manually favorable, but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
• Experience in computer-aided design and drafting.
• Developed knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.

 

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma required.
• Degree from a technical college preferred.
