Eastern National, a not-for-profit partner of the National Park Service, is seeking a Highland Lighthouse Guide (HLG) to provide historically accurate and compelling interpretation of the events, personalities, and major themes of the park.

The Highland Lighthouse is a friendly and casual learning environment that meets the needs of visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. The HLG promotes understanding and appreciation of the significance of the Highland Lighthouse within the full context of the Maritime history of Cape Cod National Seashore. Working in partnership with the National Park Service and the volunteers of Cape Cod National Seashore the HLG supports the furtherance of the objectives of historic interpretation, education, preservation and protection of the landscape, and historic structure of Highland Lighthouse.

*Must be able to climb to the top of the lighthouse (69 steps - 3 staircases and 3 ladders) several times a day and remain in the watch room for several hours at a time.
