Our property offers breathtaking views of the serene Lake Michigan and provides guests with a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Lake Bluff Inn and Suites also hosts a variety of events including weddings, birthday parties, retirement parties, anniversary parties, baby showers, bridal showers, etc.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our picturesque lakefront hotel. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a strong commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and responding promptly to guest inquiries and concerns.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members to ensure efficient and effective operation of the hotel.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest experience and streamline operations.
- Monitor and control hotel expenses and budgets to maximize profitability.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the hotel and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel management or hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Knowledge of local area attractions and amenities is a plus.
