Sales Associate

Marine Blue Inc in Canandaigua, NY is currently hiring a motivated individual to take on our Sales department. This position performs a variety of customer service, in-store, promoting, and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealership's parts department.

This individual will be responsible for learning the product lines and specifications, high energy and positive customer experience, a willingness to be trained and take direction.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

• Attendance of training and sales meetings
• Actively participate in boat shows, trade shows, and marina showroom
• Closing sales with customer satisfaction (educating the customer on all details of purchase)
• Organization of paperwork, emails, and all office work
• Perform effective demonstrations
• Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
• When working the parts counter, follows prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures.
• Provide service technicians with parts as required.
• Processes cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at a point of sale.
• Performs routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhance the cleanliness of products and the retail sales area.
• A positive attitude at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid NYS driver's license
• Computer skills
• Overtime and extended hours availability
• Some holiday and weekend availability
• Driving/docking boats (a willingness to be trained)
• Closing deals
• Writing up all estimates and invoices associated with sales and service
• Respectful, effective communication with customers and other associates
• Flexibility and adaptation to off-season duties and job requirements
