LOCATION: Swainsboro, GA; Emanuel County Outpatient

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct mental health services to include intake assessments, individual/family, group therapy and crisis intervention to assigned clients.
  2. Maintain regular contact with clients.
  3. Complete individualized treatment plans, treatment plan updates, behaviors assessment updates, and safety plans.
  4. Ensure consumers go to scheduled MD appointments.
  5. Complete case management to include being aware of managed care authorizations, current insurance statuses, and other chart compliances.
  6. Complete the following assessments: Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) &/or Adults Needs and Strengths (ANSA), Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSR), Crisis Safety plans, and other required assessments.
  7. Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings and clinical supervision.

Education/Experience:

  • A master's degree from an accredited university or college in the field of psychology, social work, counseling education, or human services field.

OR

  • Actively enrolled in a master's program from an accredited university or college in the field of psychology, social work, counseling education, or human services field.

OR

  • Licensed in the State of Georgia to provide mental health services (LPC, LAPC, LCSW, LMFT etc.) preferred.

Pay varies depending on whether the candidate is in a Master's Program, has a Master's Degree while obtaining licensure, or is already licensed.


40 Hour Work Week
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
