Job Summary for On-Site Electrical Superintendent
Position: On-Site Electrical Superintendent
  • Role Overview: The On-Site Electrical Superintendentwill oversee construction activities, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings according to the contract.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm on the project site or in the office, with weekends off.
  • Compensation: Competitive annual salary of $85,000 - $125,000 based on education and experience, with potential annual bonuses.
Responsibilities/Competencies:
  • Interface with construction teams, project management, USACE Team, and field personnel to complete assigned tasks.
  • Monitor compliance with contract specifications and ensure installations meet codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee electrical activities, providing hands-on help when necessary.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, codes, specifications, and estimates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure electrical design and installation meet project requirements.
  • Interface with vendors, assist in developing Change Orders for scope variance, and ensure timely material delivery.
  • Assist with daily QC Logs, inspections, and scheduling, while prioritizing project safety requirements.
Desired Requirements:
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Valid electrical license or certification, OSHA 30, NEC certified.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an electrical supervisor or foreman in construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and contract specifications.
  • Proficiency in safety, workforce management, project execution, quality, and administration.
  • Familiarity with USACE and EM-385 is a plus.
  • Knowledge of latest electrical technologies, systems, specifications, codes, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and quality control skills.
  • Relevant computer skills: Microsoft Office 365, Share Point, Microsoft Project, RMS.
  • Willingness to travel: Approximately 75% of the time.
