Job Description

Undertake the required qualitative testing of product from raw state to finished product and chemical solution strengths, completing all the required documentation in an accurate and legible way. Work within a team environment which includes shift work and job rotation. Complete all activities required to assure that all products are manufactured to meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and consistency.

Responsibilities
•Undertake morning calibration tests and ensuring that test equipment is ready for the day’s production
•Conduct the required chemical solution tests including taking the required solution samples
•Perform the required grading of finished product against a set of customer specifications
•Enter all data into the SPC database a timely fashion
•Perform the required testing of raw product from both storage and incoming raw product deliveries
•Ensure that all the required documentation is completed in a timely fashion and that it is accurate and legible
•Conduct pre-operation sanitation inspections including microbiological and ph testing
•Complete test results to standard and take action in out-of-specification situations
•Follow and enforce Good Lab Practices (GLP’s)
◦Maintain adequate stock of lab supplies
◦Maintain work area in a clean, neat, orderly manner
•Inform Supervisors and Management when out-of-specification situations occur
•Complete the appropriate documentation for corrective actions and holds employees accountable
•Identify and make recommendations for continuous improvements
•Other duties as requested by the QA Lead Laboratory Supervisor or Management

Qualifications
•No prior quality experience or training is necessary.
•Basic computer skills are required.
