Brenham Dermatology/DermSurgery-Brenham is interviewing for Medical Assistants / DermTechs in our growing and busy Dermatology group! We are adding talented team members to our team.

Ideal candidates will be quick thinking individuals who are team players, love providing care to patients, possess EMR experience and desire to learn while contributing to our success. This position will be working with both our Mohs surgeon on surgery days and our Nurse Practitioner on general dermatology days as well as where needed.

Duties include, but are not limited to: Rooming patients, assisting during surgery, educating patients & obtaining procedure consents, assisting with procedures, documenting in the EMR, scribing for physician, completing patient call backs, scheduling surgeries, logging & tracking pathology, completing PAs, removing sutures and other duties as assigned. Successful applicants will possess the ability to document accurately and quickly, have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical and medication abbreviations and have the ability to work productively as part of the team.

Mohs and Dermatology experience is a plus. Preferably CCMA or DTECH certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. TRAVEL maybe required on Thursdays to our Katy location. We pay for travel and mileage over and above the regular commute.
