Construction-Field Installation Technician

Overall Responsibility:

To install company product

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

•      To perform site layout
•      To screed stone level
•      To Compact stone
•      To apply sealant
•      To install hardware
•      To install bracing
•      To install concrete walls square, level and plumb
•      To perform site clean up
•      To comply with all company safety policies
•      To travel as required to meet customer requirements
•      To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
•      Other duties as assigned

Skills and Attributes:

•      Ability to work from ladders
•      Ability to manually lift 80 lbs.
•      Ability to follow specific instructions
•      Ability to work well with others
•      Ability to hold privileged communications and information confidential
•      Ability to use rake, shovel, screeds and other basic hand tools
•      Ability to operate tampers, generators, concrete saw and other installation equipment
•      Ability to read production and/or customer blueprints and translate information into actual performance
•      Ability to accurately read tape measures
•      Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
•      Willing to work varying schedules as required to meet customer needs
•      Willingness to obtain installation certification
•      Willingness to wear company provided uniforms
•      Willingness to provide own basic hand tools and rain gear
•      Punctuality and reliability concerning work schedules
•      Possess good personal hygiene habits

Experience Requirement:

•      Ability to drive a standard transmission 1 ton truck
•      Possess and retain a valid driver’s license for non-CDL transport

Education Requirement:

•      High School graduate level math skills
