Western Engineering owns and operates a surface mine facility in Oakland, IA.

Our Team at the Oakland Pit is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to run the Excavator and Loader.

If you are a hard-working individual willing to take on responsibilities while working in a safety conscious environment, we would like to talk with you. 

We are willing to train the right person that has a can-do attitude for the job. 

Equipment Operated includes but not limited to:

• Skid Steer
• Loader
• Haul Trucks
• Dozer
• Excavators

We need a self-motivator that will be:

• Proactive with Pit maintenance,
• Willing to learn and take on daily challenges
• Willing to learn MSHA Regulations
• Dependable and Punctual
