Job Summary

Lamoille Valley Ford is looking for an  Automotive Technician to join our team of reliable professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success working with popular vehicles of all makes and models. This is a full time position based in Hardwick, Vermont with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Compensation & Benefits

This Automotive Technician role is a full-time positions that pays a competitive salary and benefits package including but not limited to: medical, 401k, vacation days, floating holidays, and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, basic electrical and preventative maintenance work on customer vehicles in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

• Diagnose and accurately repair vehicles using the latest automotive technology.

• Perform a wide range of repairs including diagnostics, brakes, tune-ups, exhaust systems and suspension.

• Survey vehicles for mechanical problems and document any additional services needed.

• Apply safe work habits and keep an organized workspace.

• Build and maintain customer relationships by providing top-notch automotive service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with ASE or equivalent certifications and experience.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Comfortable working quickly and accurately under deadlines.

• Knowledge of current automotive technology preferred.
